The Eclipse Szn Group is the first iteration of transit-guided community group programs that have the mission to provide space for our cosmic healing fam to work through a turbulent time intentionally with (and for) themselves and others.
Fam, this three-pronged approach to counseling by way of astrology has got everything you need to navigate this eclipse szn: 1-on-1 chart sessions with kay, group convos with Erica Joy, and guided somatic exercises too❣
💫 one on one sessions allow for an in-depth look at YOUR eclipse journey. What is your eclipse story? What are the lunar nodes pulling you towards and asking you to let go of? What areas of your life are affected most, and how can you move through the challenges that come up at this time with the most possible ease? Eclipses are about rapid growth and change. in these one-on-ones, kay is dedicated to building rapport, trust, and providing each person with a deeper understanding of their charts and, thus, their Selves.
💫movement/meditation/grounding sessions, to be enjoyed either in real time or as a recording at your leisure, are pegged to the transits of the given moment, offering a guided somatic experience of channeling the transits through the emotions and events that come with them. All with an aim to foster our connections to our inner compasses and intuition!
💫 connecting in a group setting makes community building possible, strengthens our relationships, and widens our networks of care. Here, group facilitator Erica Joy bridges an understanding of the variety of ways in which astro transits can manifest and affect us communally. Erica Joy, together with the group, provides different strategies for coping, navigating, grieving, loving, and being during a hectic and isolating time. Friendships will be built! Support abound!
This 7-week-long session provides our clients the opportunity to have dedicated counseling time to talk in-depth about their relationship to what’s happening in the sky and move through how its manifesting personally and collectively. The stretch of time during which we’ll be working together is called an eclipse season. Tied to the lunar nodes, currently in Taurus and Scorpio, and moving through their second of three rounds of eclipses, these bi-annual events are highly charged times of year, and this cycle is no different.
We intentionally only work with our community—our people and our people’s people.
Think back to April and May…
how were things going? Was it hectic? Draining? Overwhelming? Especially concerning rapid changes, home, resources, safety, death, stability, and/or sex? We had our first round of Taurus-Scorpio eclipses during that time, and with that Cosmic Healing also hosted our first Eclipse Group.
We led 7 of our community members through a six-week program that facilitated them in reflection—individually and in community. We did creative activities that dug deep into what feelings and inner conversations were coming up to locate personal purposes or lessons from the eclipses. And kept ourselves grounded through it all with mindful stretching, writing, and breathing.
My eclipse experience brought revelations and self-discoveries. With the North Node conjunct my sun it felt (and feels still, as it remains in Taurus until next year) that I am moving more so within my destined journey. I feel more aligned with my sun during this time, and while I think a big part of that is graduating from college and becoming a bit more reserved. It wasn't really until the last 9 or so months (when the North Node shifted into Taurus) that I truly started thinking about the personal, communal, and material resources I have and need to live a life wherein I'm truly happy, and this has come with a lot of internal conflict—what am I willing to do? ask for? give back? I'm honestly kinda excited albeit nervous for this Scorpio Season round of eclipses to bring things back to the forefront, identify what I've learned in the past six months, and witness change happen swiftly—whether I like it or not.
Participating in the Cosmic Healing Eclipse Group has been a really great experience. This group provided the opportunity to learn more about both myself and astrology in a way that promoted self-reflection and group discussions. While going through a transitional period in my life, this group helped keep me connected to my real self through the reading of my chart which has ultimately offered help in figuring out my next steps. I would love to participate again in the future, because through this experience I have been able to see a part of myself that I had not seen before by opening my eyes to the benefits of being more open with myself and others. Kay and Erica’s care-full and personalized facilitation of the Cosmic Healing program really encouraged me to go deep in one-on-one sessions with Kay, as well as expand my knowledge of communal care within the group sessions led by Erica. The one-on-ones and group sessions complimented each other tremendously in this sense. The combination of the two and the time between them encouraged a level of processing for me, considering our wonderful facilitators guided us through questions, themes, and observations that prompted self-reflection and co-reflection. I learned not only about astrology, and even more so about how to observe myself with honesty and simultaneous gentle/thoroughness.
