I’ve cried many tears for Palestinians, their stolen homeland, constant state of danger, and erasure. I’m consistently awashed with the reality that colonization is alive and well. It is ACTIVE. I’ve reached a big age with a big awareness that does not allow me to ignore how yt supremacy is working overtime to commit yet another genocide, and it is absolutely DEVASTATING. But witnessing and speaking out against it is the only way to live with integrity.
Some people seem to be complicit because of the notion “history repeats itself,” but history reoccurs because there are people, governments (”Israel” and the US among others), and corporations with vested interests in history repeating. in people being silent even though they have learned. and maybe they have also forgotten that many empires have fallen due to resistance and ineptitude…biden cough cough
I screen-printed a poster for 4 years ago that reads, “a sanctuary is a home away from home,” and it is only now that I’ve understood it’s meaning to be a sanctuary or a refuge, is a place you go to, a place you call home when you can’t be home…can’t go home. Almost every Palestinian has been displaced, and yet no place they’ve been forcibly moved to within Palestine has resulted in their safety, their sanctuary.
“Israel” really be built on yt supremacy. Founded on using trauma to enact the same trauma unto another people to seize land + resources. Instead of putting energy into getting to the root or breaking the cycle, the “Israeli” government is trying its hardest to live up to its genocidal predecessors and allies, but they know they’re losing. They are obliterating any and everyone/thing before the ultimate demise of their bloodthirsty government.

We ALL need to say something. DO something to let the world know that we see what “Israel” is doing and it is UNACCEPTABLE. The state of “Israel” is UNACCEPTABLE.
