Kamila Shakur is an interdisciplinary cultural worker utilizing art, archival work, & spiritual analysis in their research exploring the Black identity and the role of mythology in shaping worlds. Themes such as sound and time are integral to their practice. She is currently a Preserving Black Legacy Fellow care of Black Bottom Archives, publishes her writing on Substack, and is working to expand her most recently developed framework Black Queer Femme Mysticism.
