*The last several months have been unlike anything I have known.

I left the only country I had ever known and moved abroad with my spouse. We left our friends, our church, o[u]r jobs… because we realized there was no chance for us to expand. No long-term hope for an immense and complex life that Spirit seemed to be calling us to.

Financially it has been a challenge. And then yesterday, something inside of me clicked. Something shifted, and the voice of Spirit became very clear.*

The ways you made a living there, will not serve you here. You cannot stay small and expect to grow.

About Ryah James:

I'm Ryah (any/all pronouns), I'm a Quaker(ish) and a mystic. I have practiced tarot and astrology fairly loosely for over 10 years. I am also an energy worker — I am trained in Integrative Quantum Medicine, Level I and II. I have a certificate in Multi-Religious Studies from Starr King for the Ministry, and I am currently working on a Master of Arts in Leadership in Spiritual Direction from UTS of the Twin Cities.

Much of my practice centers folks who are unpacking oppressive structures and belief systems around the Divine. Even as a Christian, I have found turning to ancient ways of gnosis to be both a tool of liberation and a way to engage with the Holy on my own terms. Whether you identify with a specific faith tradition or you are seeking for a place of belonging, my focus is offering guidance in stillness, contemplative practice and sitting with the liminal spaces with you on this faith journey.

You can contact me via my Substack and book a 1-on-1, if you would like to work with me! It's PWYC, especially for BIPOC, queer, trans and disabled folx.
