Our Rage is Sacred!
We, the Cosmic Healing Sistas (Erica Joy + kay), have assembled a group of brilliant, spiritual, rageful folks in the Cosmic Healing sphere to come together and share in the well-deserved, under-resourced, and generations-deep rage that we experience as colonized people in this colonized world.
We’re at the culmination of the nodal journey and series of eclipses through the tropical Aries-Libra axis—pointing to a collective reckoning with the themes reflected by these zodiacal energies. The Aries-Libra axis encapsulates Aries themes of identity, advocacy, self-assertion, aggression, determination, (self-)defense, intuition, and expressing emotion—especially passion and rage(!!) as well as Libran themes of integration, connection, assimilation, accommodation, repression, mediation, relationships, decision-making, palatability and social respectability.
Our intention with this series is to host a collection of spaces/conversations where each participant can be celebrated in their fullness and get support for however they’re being called to shift and expand.

COLLECTIVE LIBERATION MEANS: Black liberation, Fat liberation, Mad liberation, spiritual liberation, liberation from border imperialism, liberation from eugenics, liberation from carcerality, liberation from capitalism, liberation from white supremacy, liberation from patriarchy, and liberation from hierarchical socioeconomic models. This group of organizers and facilitators believes in land sovereignty, disability justice, community care models, and the dismantling of this world order, including the governments, institutions, industrial complexes, and the human actors who willfully maintain them. We encourage rage against that which oppresses us, and the unjust way of life forced upon us and this earth. We deserve and demand better.

Erica Joy (she/they) lives in the constant nuance of rage and temperance as an Aries moon + rising and Libra mars. A loud one who was told (and had the natural inclination) to keep the peace. As the youngest child, EJ knows the personal rage of being silenced. And as a Fat Black Queer babe, they know + feel the deep ancestral rage of being invisibilized, villianized, and terrorized. Through the co-creation of Cosmic Healing, she can live out their Taurus sun values of ground-up resistance + revolution, always being sure to center the most marginalized.
kay (we/she/they) is an ecowomanist living in honor and legacy of my ancestors, including but not limited to those who chose the sea. liberation is our life’s work, and we deeply value those alongside us as we collectively cultivate it. with an Aries South Node, we came into this body fiercely entitled to autonomy and are furiously learning all the various ways this inherent right is violated. kay presently works with astrology as a means/language/practice through which to holistically understand and encourage our inherent worth. co-creating Cosmic Healing with my sister has been a radical and life-affirming reclamation of my disabled body, invaluable time and vibrant energy. We honor the community healing justice work we do, appreciating the daily opportunity to deepen into and evolve our revolutionary praxis.
MarĂa Alejandra believes in the power of resistance through the reclamation of our bodyminds and bodylands; dreaming and conspiring in the construction of different worlds, while learning from ancestors, elders and peers. As a companion, they offer the co-creation of processing, attunement, and learning spaces led by the wisdom of bodyminds for queer, BIPOC, MMIND folks.
Ngozi (they/she) is a Black mad hottie, with an organizing approach grounded in disability justice and Black autonomy. A crip and death doula guided by theorizing from their lived experiences, Ngozi coined the term "neuroexpansive" and continues to build capacity and care for Black madness in their community. Previously focused on building organizing collectives with survivors and abolitionists, they were a core organizer of the No New Jails NYC campaign and continue to hold the line against fascism, eugenics, and COVID denialism.
Elmina Bell is an Indigenous African Psycho-Spiritual Practitioner. Her work as a trauma-informed peer support facilitator, crisis counselor, tropical and sidereal astrologer, sound healer, medium, and budding plant medicine facilitator is guided by Ngoma Mulema Se philosophies of their various African ancestors spanning Sawa Bantu from Cameroon, Ewe/ga peoples in Togo and many more across the continent. Elmina is working with her ancestors on various projects such as BlackPolarBrain (a holistic Indigenous ancestral perspective on her bipolar diagnosis) and Indigenius Mental Health to build healing structures beyond carceral Western systems of care that have led to the murders of Sonya Massey, Ryan Gainer, and too many other Black people with mental conditions. As an academia dropout who honors education outside of formal university settings, Elmina's work aims to decolonize and re-indigenize mental health by sharing her ongoing journey of Indigenous African spirituality to help Black people remember their ancestral lineages that were violently disrupted but still survive on in us, and by embracing the knowledge of those with lived experiences with mental health conditions/disabilities. Ji-Youn (they/she) is a queer, relatively non-disabled corean immigrant and settler, joy-seeker, liberatory dreamer, psych survivor, therapist-ish, and ongoing creation of community. They are a groaner & moaner, somatic practitioner, and enthusiast of erotic body joy, embodying the deep belief that our collective rage expands our capacities for collective joy. Ji-Youn is also the co-creator of Processing Rage, an experiential and relational program centered around the practice of processing and directing anger in tactful and liberatory ways. Laurel is a psycho-spiritual practitioner who offers mental health education, as well as spiritual guidance, through SpectacuLaur Thoughts. She believes that reconnecting with BIPOC indigenous spirituality is key to achieving collective liberation and harmony between us and the Earth, and that healing personal and ancestral wounds is necessary for this to happen. Our sliding scale is race-based, as this series is built upon an understanding of anti-Blackness as the foundation of the evils of our modern society. We want to ensure our work is accessible to Black folks, as holistic liberation for Black people is paramount to collective freedom. If the sliding scale isn’t accessible for you, reach out to kay & ej through [email protected] to talk about alternative options. This is a series organized and facilitated by people who truly practice the values and principles of liberation that they teach! If you have the means to pay higher on the scale please do knowing that you are supporting several multiply-marginalized folks who are (often) undervalued and underpaid doing (community) care work.
This series centers people of color—people of the global majority—to explore our sacred rage without concern for the White gaze, but White people are welcome and encouraged to support this series, and the work of all these amazing facilitators, through sponsoring tickets for Black people and/or purchasing access to the recordings of these spaces. The sliding scale is as follows:
