Here we are with a balancing of day and night, the start of cozy fall for those of us in the northern hemisphere and beginning of exciting summer for us in the southern. We’re in the middle of eclipse szn contending with stories and lessons that may have you thinking about the last year and a half or will be the start of a new 18-month journey.
And without any further ado welcome to our Cosmic Healing Community Newsletter <3 As y’all hopefully know, a vital part of our mission at Cosmic Healing is to create and sustain community. We want to provide for and rely on members of our community in mutually beneficial and non-extractive collaboration.
Community is not only a part of our mission; it’s a core value of Cosmic Healing, and this newsletter is an effort to continue growing and cultivating community. This is a space for CH Fam to share their thoughts, crafts, and needs. We want people in the CH community to experience more than their amazing one-on-one sessions with kay; we want y’all to know each other. We want to create connections that allow all of us to feel more secure in this world, while we navigate The Worst Timeline together.

In true Taurus fashion, I am determined to prioritize rest and bask in what makes me happy. Right now, that looks like puzzles! reading cute romances! eating yummy food! watching the birds in the tree outside my window! singing + dancing in the kitchen! and debriefing reality tv with friends!
Cosmic Healing is a community endeavor, and as such, there needs to be opportunities to meet and support one another, so I organize many of the community spaces for the CH Fam. I plan + lead virtual group conversations, multi-week group programs, and this very community newsletter that brings together thoughts and requests from our CH fam.
I’m also shifting much of the time I dedicated to one-on-one peer support sessions to more community spaces. After seeing the way social work can perpetuate the oppressive structures we live under, I realized the importance of approaching this work in my own way with my values of liberation, care, and sustainability at the forefront. i’m a writer + poet. have been p much since i became literate, and i’m currently freelancing essays, writing a newsletter of my own, sag, rising, and working on my first novel
i’m a nomad until i’m not, living by the lessons my chronic illness taught me, critically anti-capitalist, dedicated to integrity, authenticity, clarity and my spirit guides
after realizing all institutions are hell, i fell in love with the stars. i’ve been an astrology ~enthusiast~ since 2014, studying (tropical) in great depth since 2018
and now the planets and the zodiac and the cycles—the revolutions!—are the primary lens through which i live my life. I provide astrological counseling to my community. i’m not looking to just explain you to you in my readings. astrology is not a parlor trick, but a compassionate language, an elucidation of the vibes, a big picture analysis of patterns affecting you, options available to you, energies hitting you, the people around you, and everyone collectively. my astro is revolutionary in that i bring my values to my readings, and i seek to connect you with your soul purpose and somatic peace. capitalism and other systems of oppression have no interest in either one, and the stars can assist in guidance outside of these violent societal failures.
